Bloodwork
Bloodwork is important to do on pets as part of the wellness visit. Bloodwork gives us an idea of what is “normal” for your pet. Routine blood screenings can diagnose undetected health problems in some of our patents. This helps us treat the problem sooner helping your pet have a fuller, longer life with you.

Heartworm prevention
More than a million pets in the U.S. have heartworm disease. Heartworm is transmitted through a mosquito bite. Even strictly inside pets are at risk because pesky mosquitoes can fly into homes undetected.

A simple and safe way to protect your pet is through heartworm prevention. We have a 6 and 12 month injection we can give your dog to prevent the transmission of heartworms. If you prefer to give heartworm monthly as a tasty treat at home, we have that too!

The ASPCA says that fleas and ticks are two of the most frequent pet care concerns in America. Prevention is the best defense against these parasites, and we are here to help. For dogs we have tasty treats that they can take to control fleas and ticks. For our more finicky feline we have topical flea and tick control.
